Better Cheddar Sausage and Egg Cups
A quick and easy way to prepare breakfast. It is from one my favorite Low Carb Recipe cook Books “The Complete Low-Carb” cookbook by George Stella. I find all of his recipes easy to prepare and tasty. Look for my review in my Book Review list.
Ingredients:
- Nonstick cooking spray
- 6 ounces breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- Place oven rack in the center postion, and preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Divide the cooked and crumbled sausage equally into each of the 6 cups
- Crack an egg into each of the 6 cups over the top of the sausage, trying to keep the yolks unbroken
- Bake for 12 – 14 minutes, or until the egg whites are no longer runny
